Birrieria Del Pueblo & Cantina opened in December 2014 with one goal: share family recipes passed down through generations. The owner’s mother still cooks her original dishes, joined by three cooks who focus on traditional, home-style Mexican food. For 11 years, the restaurant has served Yuma meals that feel like eating at parents’ or grandparents’ house.

The restaurant is known for signature birria, made with beef or goat, and popular caldos, tacos, quesabirrias, and tortas. Handmade tortillas are served every Saturday and Sunday. The mission is simple: offer real Mexican comfort food, made with care, that keeps customers coming back for the flavors of home at 2015 W 8th St, Yuma, AZ.
